40th wedding anniversary

Simon organised a party for his parents' wedding anniversary. It was a really lovely afternoon full of family and friends who have been in his parents lives for so long.
The boys were very well behaved and had a great time playing with their cousins, and their cars!!
A long day though, we left home at 10.30 and didn't get home until after 9pm. The following day we had another party to go to!

We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo

We had a busy morning at the zoo today - Auntie Tina, Louis, Ethan, Isaac, Mummy and Daddy went and we walked around the zoo for a few hours. The boys showed Auntie Tina all their favourite animals, fed the birds in the aviary, ate lunch and then after all that were so tired that they fell asleep on the way home!

Sleep over with Louis

Louis came over tonight and had a sleep over! The boys all ate dinner and dessert, then played outside on the bikes before going to bed. It took Isaac and Louis about an hour and a half to go to sleep as they were chatting like little old men in their beds! Ethan was really upset that he had to go into his own bedroom and didn't get to be with the 'big boys' but he went to sleep well in his cot in his own room :)

Finns 1st birthday party

Our friends Katie and Steven have 2 children, Siena and Finn. Finn had his first birthday party over the weekend and it was such a lovely day. A very cool venue at a hall which was fully fenced which made for a very stress free afternoon for parents! Steve created a very cool cake, and the kids played all afternoon.

Belly Casting :)

This morning Simon plastered me up and created a casting of my pregnant belly! I had intended to do one of these with both my previous pregnancies but never got round to it!

It was a very relaxing time, Ethan was home but wasn't really interested in what was happening and happily watched "Cars" while I sat in the kitchen for an hour or so while the casting was put on and drying.

The next step is to wait until it dries and then reinforce it and paint it!

It will probably become a work of art in our bedroom :)

Fun times!

We went to the Trolley Derby on Brightside Road over the weekend of the 20th March and the boys loved watching the fast trolleys zoom down the hill! They had their face painted in Whangaparaoa School colours :) Then we played with playdough and they loved making moustaches :)

We had a fun morning in the dress up box :) The boys love hats and wigs and we were all in hysterics by the end of it.
Daddy was very exhausted ;)
